A long time ago, we used to be friends
Love her and her gang of misfits like we do, it pains me to admit that Season 2 of Veronica Mars was a big disappointment. Season 1 ended perfectly and neatly, but left us with a few unanswered questions:
- Who was that at the door? Is he Veronica’s one true love?
- Will there ever be another mystery as compelling as Lilly’s murder?
- Will Veronica stay as lovably badass now that she’s been proven right and likely to lose her outsider status?
- Will Keith become sheriff again? Will he find happiness with Wallace’s mom?
- Will Duncan ever crack a smile?
- How hot is Logan?
- Will we get that same shiver of fear and excitement and feeling of absolute rightness when we finally learn who the bad guy is?
- Is it ever as good as the first time?
Spoilers after the jump.
Short answers:
- Logan. Just her good time buddy as it turns out.
- No.
- Yes.
- No and no.
- Yes, when he and Veronica get back together. Yes again, after a long time, when he successfully kidnaps his baby from his dead ex-girlfriend’s psychotic parents. Yes again when Aaron Echolls gets a bullet through his head.
- Pretty damn hot. Just ask Dick and Beaver’s mom.
- Absolutely not. More like, what the fuck?
- Never.
