Today’s t-shirt - on location
Today I decided to take Grumpus and his t-shirt on an outdoor shoot. I went “awwww” when I first saw the shirt, which features a rooster on a fence and the caption “Easy like Sunday morning.” Mickey’s parents call him Rooster for some unknown reason, and he really likes the song “Easy,” originally by the Commodores, although he prefers the Faith No More version.
Here’s Grumpus and his shirt by the Jose Rizal plaque by the Mid-levels escalator. Jose Rizal lived in the area with his family in the early 1890s, says the plaque.
Later in the day Grumpus and I went to Causeway Bay. Here he is grinning outside the giant Giordano store. He didn’t know it then, but the woman behind him is wearing jeans so low that her ass dimples are showing.
Causeway Bay is also a great place for funny signs and billboards.
Back to the photo shoot. There is no better accessory for a Rooster t-shirt than a felt pink fedora,
unless it’s a jacket and a smile.
